Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts

Duration: Previs – 5 Months, Postvis & Finals – 7 Months

Team HALON joined KONG: SKULL ISLAND early in production for previs, and then was asked to return for extensive postvis work. We started with a small team collaborating with other people in the production but mostly the director, Jordan Vogt-Roberts. Our team’s postvis became an essential tool, used as a stepping stone for the in-house VFX department finish the final shots. Team HALON quickly took over as the full in-house team, turning in over 200 final VFX shots for the film. Having our team function as previs, postvis and finals allowed for a more creative and experimental collaboration with Vogt-Roberts; allowing him to explore new ideas throughout the finals process.
